The one-line text box allows a site visitor to input text.
To add a one-line text box:
1. Select Insert > Form > One-Line Text Box...
2. Double click to specify Name and Initial value. If initial value has not been specified, the text box is displayed as blank.
3. Select an Input type. The default is standard text.
- Select Standard text for most purposes.
- If you select Password, each character typed into the text box will be shown as an asterisk (*) rather than the actual character.
- If you select File name, a browse button will be inserted next to the text box, allowing site visitors to select a file on their hard drive, of which the filename will be automatically entered into the text box.
4. Click OK.5. If you wish to attach an action, select Insert > Form > Form. Then make the form element is belonged to the form.Note: If you add the form in the first, then the form elements, the form elements are belonged to the form you have added automatically.
You can modify the size of the text box by selecting the text box and dragging its resize handles. You can also modify the properties of the box in the One-Line Text Box Properties, which appears when you double-click the text box.
